人のこころを含めた様々な"美しさのシルエット" を古典的な要素と現代的な感性を融合させ表現する
出展アーティストプロフィール
桜井 智 Tomo Sakurai
長野県生まれ。東京都在住。
日本独特の湿度の高い情念や、思考の癖を削ぎ落とすために、様々なマテリアルを用いながら明暗と濃淡で色彩を表現している。2022年、「世界にモノクロームアートと日本の竹を広めるプロジェクト」を開始し、フランス・パリのカルーゼル・デュ・ルーヴルで開催されたアートフェアにて竹を用いた作品を発表。帰国後、パリで反響を浴びた喪服のアップサイクルも開始し、様々な角度から発信を行う。2023年秋、パリの呉服ギャラリーにて展覧会が決定。また、同時期にヴェネチア国際映画祭でベスト・ドキュメンタリー・オン・シネマ賞を受賞したYves Montmayeur監督による、制作を追ったドキュメンタリー作品がフランスのテレビ番組とケ・ブランリ美術館にて公開されるなど、国の枠を越えて精神性や日本文化を伝える。
Born in Nagano, Japan. Lives and works in Tokyo.
She uses light and dark and shades of color while using a variety of materials in order to cut down on the humid emotions and thinking habits that are unique to Japan. In 2022, she launched the "Project for Monochrome Art and Japanese Bamboo around the World" and exhibited a work using bamboo at the "FOCUS Art Fair 2022 Paris" held at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France. After returning to Japan, she started an up-cycling project of mourning clothes(kimono), which was well-received in Paris, to transmit art from various directions. In the fall of 2023, an exhibition will be held at the Kimono Gallery in Paris. At the same time, a documentary film by Yves Montmayer, winner of the Best Film Documentary Award at the Venice International Film Festival, will be screened on French commercial television and at the Musée du Quai Branly, conveying the depth of psychology and Japanese culture across borders.
西沢 直美 Naomi NISHIZAWA
東京都出身、在住。
2019年よりフランス、ポルトガル、日本国内でのグループ展、個展、コミッションワークで作品を発表。箔や岩絵具、膠を使った日本画の技法をベースに、素材感のある和紙、布、油性樹脂など、領域にとらわれない異素材を画面上で組み合わせた複雑な質感表現にこだわりをもって制作活動をしている。
近年では画面全体を様々な箔で彩り、金属の光沢を活かした装飾性の高い絵画表現を試みている。
主なモチーフは町と花と雨。
Naomi Nishizawa is a Japanese artist whose works are based on the technique of Japanese painting using "Haku"(foil),mineral pigments,and glue.She prefers to create with complex textures by combining different minerals that are not bound by any particular style,such as Japanese paper,cloth,and oil-based resin,which have different.textures . In recent years she covers the entire surface with various foils as she attempts to create highly decorative paintings that take advantage of the metallic luster.The main motifs are towns, flowers and rain.Based in Tokyo.From 2019, works exhibited in Portugal (group exhibition), France (group exhibition), Japan (solo exhibition ,commission work ,and others)
鈴木 清麗 SUZUKI SEIREI
豪州立大学 Griffith University Queensland College of Art 学士を首席で修了。
在学中、西洋の抽象表現主義やシュルレアリスムなどの表現方法や思想に強く影響を受ける。帰国後、母国日本での前衛的な思想から生まれた墨象や前衛書などに、類似性や対極性を感じ、西洋と東洋の融合の中で生まれる思想や表現に基づきながら、形や概念に囚われない独自の作品を多数発表している。2021年、東京都国立新美術館、京都京セラ美術館で開催された企画展にて芸術賞、優秀賞を収め、近年では、アラブ首長国連邦ドバイ首長国で開催される中東最大級のアートフェア展示にてオープニングパフォーマンス出演および作品展示を果すなど、国内外を問わず活動の幅を広げている。
Graduated from Australia state Griffith University Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Arts degree at the top of her class.
While in her university, she was strongly influenced by Western Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism.After returning to Japan, she observed the similarities and extreme opposite features from Bokusyou and avant-garde Japanese calligraphy. Her works are not only based on ideas of the fusion of the Western and the Eastern's expressions and spirits, but also embrace her uniqueness that is not bound by existing shape or concept. In recent years, she expanded her art activity domestically and internationally, including exhibitions at the National Art Museums in Tokyo and Kyoto, as well as exhibitions and live painting performances in Los Angeles and Dubai UAE.
